Buddy Miles passed away this week and we will certainly miss him and his unique style.

Buddy spent time playing with a lot of great musicians over the years including Jimi Hendrix and Carlos Santana. His voice was so unique that he is still remembered for animated commercials he did for the California Raisins years ago.

Two entire songs from the new album are streaming from Winwood’s website at stevewinwood.com. This song “Dirty City” reminds me of a cross between Blind Faith and Traffic.

George Harrison (February 25, 1943 - November 29, 2001) would be celebrating another birthday with us if cancer hadn’t claimed him in 2001. Let’s honor his spirit with a hearty “Hare Krishna” and celebrate his amazing life of music.
