An open letter to George Harrison
Dear George,
If not for you, we’d not have such a wonderful collection of songs like…”While My Guitar Gently Weeps,” “Here Comes The Sun,” “Something,” “Isn’t It A Pity,” “My Sweet Lord” and “All Things Must Pass.”
I want to tell you that you’re sorely missed in this world, but we wish you Peace, Love and Light.
Thanks for sharing your inner light through your wonderful music and words of wisdom…
“Beware of sadness, it can hit you, it can hurt you,
Make you sore and what is more,
That is not what you are here for.”(Lyrics from “Beware of Darkness” off the album All Things Must Pass)
Remembering George Harrison, who passed away on November 29th, 2001.
Here’s a great video of George Harrison and friends performing “While My Guitar Gently Weeps.” Great lineup including Ringo Starr, Eric Clapton, Jeff Lynne, Phil Collins, and Elton John (among others.)
