Beatles Magical Mystery Tour on DVD & Blu-Ray
The Beatles’ Magical Mystery Tour film, long out of print, is finally available on DVD & Blu-Ray.
Just released on October 8th, the iconic Beatles film is available in three lavish packages, DVD, Blu-ray, and a special edition deluxe box set.
The special edition deluxe box includes both the DVD and Blu-ray, as well as a sixty page book with photographs and production memorabilia.
Unseen video footage and in-depth interviews feature the film’s cast and crew, including a director’s audio commentary recorded by Paul McCartney.
A big bonus for record collector’s is a faithful reproduction of the mono double 7-inch vinyl EP of the film’s six “new” Beatles songs, originally issued in the UK to complement the film’s 1967 release.
The film was originally panned by critics in England when it was shown by the BBC in B&W, but over the years has become another Beatles treasure, proving the group was on the cutting edge of pop culture.
