Texas Music Office

This is a cool link listing live music events in Texas…

www.governor.state.tx.us/divisions/music/events/tmec_june.htm

It’s part of a larger and very interesting project by the Office of the Governor of Texas Rick Perry.

The Texas Music Office has a wealth of information on all things music in the state of Texas.  In addition to artists and bands, the TMO also lists radio stations, live music venues and has a directory of music services that also includes recording studios.

John Hiatt Same Old Man

John Hiatt - Same Old ManOne of my favorite singer songwriters, John Hiatt is releasing a new album. “Same Old Man” will be available May 27th.

Mostly a critical success instead of a commercial one, Hiatt continues to make music that speaks to my heart and soul. He’s one of those special artists you want to collect anything they record because you know it’s going to be great.
