The Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds tour has sold out shows across the country in just minutes, sparking controversy about ticket scalping and illegal pricing methods. Thousands of parents across the country have alleged possible ticket scams. So much so that the Attorney General’s offices in several states have started investigations into the situation.TicketMaster has announced another 1,000 tickets to be available for shows in Kansas City and St. Louis. StubHub, another online concert ticket broker, said tickets in St. Louis, San Jose, Chicago, San Antonio, and Nashville, among other cities, sold out in less than ten minutes.
14-year-old Miley Cyrus as Hannah Montana is wildly popular with teenage fans and a huge hit for Disney. This is already her second concert tour in six months, and is scheduled to perform 54 concerts in 49 cities, starting October 18th in St. Louis.
