Heroes of Woodstock Tour

Big Brother and the Holding Company are touring on the flashback circuit, which is pretty hot right now considering the Woodstock Music and Arts Festival just celebrated it’s 40th anniversary.

It may be a “short circuit” but it’s loaded with great memories and awesome classic rock, with the tour extending into November.

Other original Woodstock bands on the bill are Jefferson Starship, Ten Years After, Canned Heat, Mountain and Levon Helm from The Band.

Jefferson Starship, the tour’s headliner, is led by the only original Jefferson Airplane member, Paul Kantner. The Bethel Woods lineup also included Country Joe McDonald.

Just gotta love this quote by Peter Albin from Big Brother & the Holding Company…“We used to have acid flashbacks,” said Peter Albin. “Now we have acid reflux.”
