Hubert Sumlin 1931 – 2011

Blues guitarist Hubert Sumlin passed away yesterday, on December 4th, from heart failure.  He just celebrated his 80th birthday on November 16th.  Sumlin is best known as the guitarist for Howlin’ Wolf, who he performed with from 1953 until 1976.
