Jeff Healey 1966 – 2008

Jeff Healey passed away on March 2nd.  Jeff was only 41 but had been battling cancer for some time.

I remember the first time I saw Healey play, it was in the movie Roadhouse. His unique lap style was always amazing to watch.  In recent years he had been playing early American jazz with a group called the Jazz Wizards.

Jeff Healey died just a month before his first rock album in eight years is to be released.  ‘Mess of Blues’ is scheduled to be released next month.

We will certainly miss you Jeff!
