Tom Petty is doing the Halftime show at this year’s Super Bowl. Let’s see, since 2000 we’ve seen and heard Aerosmith, ‘N Sync, Sting, Jessica Simpson, Janet Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones and Prince. The super bowl activities committee is on a roll.
And which songs do you think they will [...]
I’m celebrating SITSmas Day today. I’ll write a “real” post under this one but I thought I’d participate since most of my bloggy pals are from SITS! If you don’t know about this place it’s great and it is such a supportive environment! And they’re giving away a $200 Target gift card! You know my love for Target! Now onto my Christmas poem…well, it’s not really a poem–more a song. It may touch some people’s hearts more than others: “…It’s a wonderful feelingFeel the love in the roomFrom th
Thanks to reader anonymous, who reminded me about this clip I was meaning to post all day. Like the Texan that I am, I spent my Thanksgiving afternoon watching the Cowboys game and witnessing my little sister get entirely too excited about the promise of the Jonas Brothers' halftime performance. Wow, were they horrible. Sure, 'NSync wasn't exactly the epitome of musical genius, but these guys made dogs across America howl in pain. Perhaps the boys should stick to lip-syncing until they've mad
By Maggie Goddard Empowered by self-governance, Haverford students enjoy much freedom—planning our own exam schedules, prioritizing what’s important to us, and setting many of our own rules. However, even self-governance can be oppressive, and we must remember not to get caught up in details, but to take a step back and gain a broader perspective. My experience at University of Notre Dame speaks to this call to color outside the lines. I was visiting my friend for the weekend to celebrate her
Lance Bass recently said a reunion for all the members of 'NSync is "a definite possibility." With the comeback of the New Kids on the Block that you've been loving, it sounds like there's a possibility for Justin Timberlake and the guys to reconnect as well. But tell us — would you be psyched for an 'NSync reunion? Source Would You Be Excited For an 'NSync Reunion? OMG Yes — They were my favorite and I'd love to see them back together! No — They should keep doing their own thing.

When I moved to the Central Florida about 10 years ago, it was being touted as “Hollywood East” (or something similar to that). I’ve been out of the entertainment loop for quite some time now so I don’t know if that still holds true, but I’ve yet to see any really big movies filmed & produced here, or see any huge celebrities migrate to the area. Why did I bring this up? Well, I was watching television recently and saw an interview with singer/actress Mandy Moore, who hails from one of our ‘ho
Lance Bass recently blogged a post for Us Weekly about the Dancing with the Stars semi-final round. The former boy band member said “Producers wanted me dance to our song ‘Bye Bye Bye’ for my freestyle routine if I make the finals, but I think [doing an *NSYNC routine] would hurt me in the end, because Len doesn’t like my *NSYNC moves. Instead, I’ve decided to go with classic hip-hop moves from today with old-school music. Right now, I’m leaning towards dancing to ‘Tricky’ by Run DMC, but I’m
The legendary Irish rockers U2 are hard at work on their 12th studio album. Rick Rubin was the band’s producer for their new album but not anymore. U2 and Rubin wrote and recorded a handful of songs for the new album. U2 has decided that Rubin’s style of recording wasn’t what they wanted so the band ended up throwing all the songs Rick Rubin did with them in the trash. The band hired Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois to produce the new album instead, they titled the album “No Line On the Horizon” whic
Brooke Burke and Derek Hough! No argument from me; Brooke and Derek were the most consistent dancers throughout the 7th season. From day 1, they were the pair to beat. With that being said, Brooke and Derek's dance last night where she ended it by hugging two of her daughters did come off as shameless pandering. Some other observations from last night:* 2nd place finisher (former NFL player Warren Sapp) picked up a lot of fans due to his appearance on DWTS. In addition to his engaging personality

Brooke Burke waltzed away with the mirror ball trophy on the “Dancing with the Stars” finale. The 37-year-old TV personality and mother of four dominated the seventh season of the popular ABC dancing competition and bested former NFL player Warren Sapp and former ‘NSync member Lance Bass during the Tuesday night finale, in which she reprised an emotional Viennese waltz routine that earned her a perfect score from the show’s panel of judges.
Beyonce opened up the show by singing ‘Single Ladies’ and ‘Crazy in Love’. Carson Daly and Damien Fahey took to the stage to host a bit before a clip of Miley Cyrus was shown. Then Diddy took to the stage to talk about TRL. Ben Stiller and Christina Aguilera also had clips for TRL before they went to Fall Out Boy performing on a huge stage out in Times Square. Justin Timberlake and JC Chasez also did a mini reunion recollecting their NSYNC days. Kid Rock, TRL news correspondents, Snoop Dogg,

Brooke Burke is DWTS Season 7 Champion Tuesday night, during Dancing With The Stars season finale, 37-year-old model-actress Brooke Burke was crowned as the seventh seasons champion. Since Burke had owned the dancing competition show from its very beginning, her eventually winning it came as no surprise to anybody. How appropriate! Former boyband singer from *NSync Joey Fatone demonstrated how his career is going down the crapper when he showed up to the opening of the new Charmin Deluxe Public Restrooms in Times Square in New York City. Photo Source: WENN
Poor Joey Fatone. While his former bandmate in *NSYNC is moving into a fancy apartment in New York City with Jessica Biel, he's stuck doing a promotion for Charmin, and giving the nation a glimpse of what he looks like on... ahem... the throne. Don't be mistaken, it's pretty great that Charmin stocks these too-nice-for-New-York restrooms in Times Square during the holidays. But if they really wanted to move the city, why not keep 'em open all year around? Then Fatone wouldn't have to strike

It all came down to three. Frequently nude TV personality Brooke Burke. Former *NSync star Lance Bass. Future NFL Hall of Famer Warren Sapp. Three competitors, one treasured disco ball. Last night on Dancing with the Stars, the trio vied for reality TV glory with one last dance, the scores from which combined with America's votes to determine the champion. Which one of them emerged victorious on this glorious night? "Unbelievable!" he or she exclaimed after being crowned the winner of this
