Heather Locklear charged with driving under the influence of drugs

Actress Heather Locklear has been formally charged with driving under the influence of drugs following an arrest near Santa Barbara in September. Officers with the California Highway Patrol said the actress, famous for roles in the television series Dynasty and Melrose Place, showed “obvious impairment” after they found her parked car blocking the lane of a highway.
