While the deep-soul and Southern soul-flavored ballads

I made a run of classic suppers this weekend: spaghetti with meat sauce, pasta with a chicken-pot-pie type sauce and roast beef with carrots and potatoes. Frankly, I got a little tired of my husband turning up his nose at all my experiments and was determined to make something he would enjoy eating. Of course, he did have to comment about the carrots in the meat sauce and he just picked at the chicken and pasta, but he did love the roast. I finally got a compliment! I'm not a very experie
In comments and email, I’ve been getting a lot of requests lately for an update on how Susan’s doing. I’ve been mostly ignoring those requests, though. And I have a good reason. Superstition. Basically, things have been going pretty well for the last several weeks, and I’ve been loathe to jinx our good luck by saying, “Things have been going pretty well.” However, it’s well known (within the part of my head that sets the rules for jinxes) that by explicitly acknowledging the potential jinx,
Maine What can we say about Maine? After a month worth of rainfall in the first 9 days, the rivers were swelling to promote the “High Water Warning” signs. Calista Flockhart is a me-maw that I’d probably make-out with, and by make-out I mean completely wreck. Introduce her to the walker properly, because that’s how I feel all old ladies should make that transition into being something completely worthless in this world. One last farewell to being anything worth a damn bone session. Everything goes! Sure she might end up choking on her own tongue, knockin’ a hip out, or even dying.. But I think any pre me-mawing’ woman would wanna take that chanc
Two-dimensional shooters are some of the most intense old-school games out there due to the precision, reflexes, and memorization needed to survive these adrenaline rushes.
