This DVD is a fascinating look behind the board, inside the studio, and into the heart and soul of the music we all know and love. Again I have to say, if you’re really into collecting music, this is a historical document and a must have for any fan of classic rock, R&B [...]

November 17, 2008 This is the view from my kitchen window at this time of year. I’ve mentioned it before I know, but I just love these wild daises. It’s not that easy to see in this light (it rained all day!) but this field is also loaded with big fat clovers and dainty pink ones that I don’t know the name off. It’s also a haven for bees and bumble bees who can’t resist the nectar. This pheasant is slowly getting used to the humans who’ve come and built houses in it’s territory. It arrives

I am still running days behind schedule, funny how you can never seem to get caught up once you fall behind. Oh well what are you gonna do? Here is another one of my Christmas cards. I generally make all different ones since I really don't like to mass produce or even to make two for that matter. The girls made this at my second Christmas Card class. I really love these colors and with this image I think it gives it a kind of vintage look?? What do you think? I am not really good at vintage, lol
Fact is, I loathe bored games. I dropped an entire group of friends because the only time they get together is to play bored games, and if there’s one thing I detest it’s getting 20 minutes into a strategy in an unfamiliar situation when suddenly someone says, “Oh, did I forget to tell you? Clovers are trumps!” or whatever. Sure, most murders have alcohol as a motivating factor, but I’m inclined to believe that bored games are #2 and closing. Nonetheless, this result does make sense. Just ask

Post title from It’s Not My Time by 3 Doors Down. Now that I have my living arrangements a little more in control and I’m going to be moving into a one bedroom by February, I’m going to concentrate on the extra money thing. There are a few GA members who will be helping me out with this. The first one is GB, who is giving me 10% of those sales when he makes them off of the spreadsheet stuff I did for his “leads.” There is another GA member, JC, who is going to be helping me by giving me emp

HeadLocker — Jay Shannon The ECW 11/11 Extreme Examination! Our resident philosopher, Jay Shannon, looks at all the action and adventure for this week’s Tuesday Night Delight, ECW. ECW opened with a classy tribute to the troops. They then heavily promoted the ECW title match between Matt Hardy and Finlay. The Guitar Hero riff of John Morrison’s intro echoed off the walls as The Shaman of Sexy came out for the opening bout. The Mix strolled out next. Miz irritated the English crowd as he c

In yet another sign of the apocalypse as caused by one W. Axl Rose, iTunes is now accepting pre-orders for Chinese Democracy, the 14-years in the making record from Guns N Roses (or 'Axl Rose and some guys he picked up off the street', to the naysayers). 1) I've gotten out of the habit of blogging, mostly because normal unemployment anxiety has been exacerbated by my incredulity that I somehow managed to quit my job and take a chance during the worst economic downturn of my lifetime. Talk about embracing risk. Let's just say that my normal love of change and adventure has given way to a crisis of confidence and crippling fear that I won't get a job or will reenter the job market at a level that ends up wasting the leverage an MBA would normall
Liza Sabater and I were trading lighthearted tweets about this the other day, but the more I think about it, the more I really think I'd like to see it. One aspect of the transition of Presidential power that has always struck me as odd is the Inaugural Balls. Typically the tickets for these events are harder to come by than a leprechaun crapping four leaf clovers onto a pot of gold at the end of a double rainbow. The people who get to purchase tickets are those who are well connected to the p
