Renowned blues singer Nappy Brown died Saturday night at 10:30 pm after a lengthy hospitalization. He was 78. The funeral service will be held September 27 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Paul Baptist Church on 1401 Allen St. in Charlotte, North Carolina.
