We All Shine On with John Lennon

We can’t let this day go by without mentioning October 9th would have been John Lennon’s 68th birthday. Artist, Beatle, songwriter, musician, husband, father, activist and MBE, he just wanted to ‘imagine peace for all the world.’

This time last year Yoko Ono unveiled a light tower in Iceland, and called it the Imagine Peace Tower. The tower is a powerful beam of light from a giant wishing well that features the words ‘imagine peace’ in twenty-four languages. It will be lit up every year from October 9th (John’s birthday) to December 8th, the anniversary of his untimely death. The first link below the video has a lot more information and news.
